With the sounds I want to add to the clip I’ve chosen I need to categorise them into wether they are diegetic (in the world of the film)or non-diegetic (not in the world of the film) as well as where I am going to get the sounds for example if I’m going to make them myself which would be foley, go to a location and record the noise Orin I can’t get the right sound by either of them then find a copyright free sound effect off youth but only use that as a last option because its the easiest but I won’t be learning as much this way.
If I don’t have access to the same things as in the film I will have be creative and use different objects to create similar sounds which will till fit with the film for example need thundered lighting but its highly unlikely that I will be Able to record real thunder and lighting so will have to use different objects and rub them together or something to mimic the right sound.
