RUN!

We decided to film this shot because I think it makes you feel more engaged into what is happening and enhances that he is running and so in a rush to go somewhere. I also decided to cut the shots together quite quickly so that it is fast to watch and the audience is trying to keep up but doesn’t quite know exactly what is going on, this gives them the feeling of being in a rush to get somewhere.

We decided to film a few shots like this were we are running with the camera which gives the video more of a feel to it because if you are running it doesn’t feel smooth so to have lots of smooth shots wouldn’t feel right to watch in this situation.

Ending with this shot showed he is relieved he got there in time and ends the video nicely so it isn’t a sudden stop in the middle of him running. It also helps the audience understand what was happening earlier and they might have a feel of relief once he is there.
