When we filmed this video we thought about the different shots we could use and what would work well with each other and match the story line, Doing a shot-list beforehand was useful because it meant we knew what shots we were aiming to get and could use time more efficiently. I think the over the shoulder shot we used facing the laptop was a good shot because we could see the light hitting his face. I also think we had a good plot for the film however the cross cutting the dream with Sid sleeping didn’t work too well and perhaps would have been better to do people moving in both cuts so that it flowed better.

Okay, good. You’ve taken a key lesson from this in regards to making the cross-cutting clearer, which is a great lesson to take. You could go further by questioning your story structure, because the whole group had issues with editing between the dream and the sleep. That said, you showed some superb shot choices in places like Szilard waking up — there’s great work in here.
